Storyboard Example

Here's how this will be organized:

The top left box will be the page numbers.
The main box will be the sketch.
And the bottom box will be the scene/cutscene/zone title.

The dialogue for each panel will be typed out below in each deviation description.
Like this:

Matilda:  I WILL DESTROY YOU!!!
Sonic:  C'mon Tails!  Go faster!
Tails:  I am!  I am!
........................


I believe doing the animation style storyboarding will be a bit easier than comic style storyboarding.  With comic style we have to choreograph many panels on one page, and with animation we only have to worry about one box at a time.

To tell the difference between characters, backgrounds, and other effects, I suggest sketching in different colors.  Regular graphite (black) for the characters/robots/props, blue for the backgrounds, and red for action lines/arrows/other effects.

For some panels, action arrows and backgrounds won't be needed.  Such as quite moments with mostly dialogue between two characters.  Though backgrounds will have to be defined somewhat in some panels (so we know where the characters are placed in the backgrounds).
